Requirements

You hold a MSc or equivalent degree in Geoscience, Geography, Hydrology, Geophysics, Physics or a related discipline, clearly with above-average grade.


You have experience in the instrumentation of natural landscapes, as well as the management and analysis of the resulting large data sets. You are capable of using scripting languages such as R, Python or Matlab. You have a background in process-oriented geomorphology, river and sediment dynamics, and hydrological principles.


You are solution-oriented, open minded and able to think across disciplines. You have an understanding for the connectedness of dynamic landscapes. You can think and work independently, and are willing to collaborate and communicate within a team of researchers with diverse backgrounds.


You have a very good command of English. A basic level of French would be of advantage.
